    Thanks s0ur! I will check what model Wii I have tonight, then compare it with the compatibility guide. Sounds like the best route. Appreciate your help.

    I use Seagate FreeAgent Go Portable 250 GB HDD- it was on sale at walmart for $59. Just check the list and you should be good.

    A million thanks to mauifrog and s0ur for your help. I was finally successfull in getting it to work. I was even able to use a DVD+R I had lying around the house. I'm on a Mac and was easily able to burn it with the very easy to use Disk Utility that I believe comes standard in all Macs. So I got to play a little Wii Fit Extra. It was such a good feeling seeing the game start up, I was totally thinking it just wouldn't regognize it. Also, I did transfer the files from my 4GB to the 2GB and everything worked as planned. I did get an error like "ret -1035" when trying to do cIosv7 on IOS35 but I read somewhere that you can just continue along without that and I did and everything was OK. So thanks again!
