No doubt a stupid question...

But...

I have a wii, lu66* running 3,4u system's menu. Does anyone know a guide I can use to softmod my wii? I know there are a gazillion guides but I'm a little afraid of bricking my wii if I choose the wrong one for me.

I really, really don't want to need the internet on the wii for this, as the 40 dollars to get the wii online is 40 dollars more than I can afford to spend right now.

to save $40, u need to spend more time searching and reading threads here, before any action.
