Cool - I will give it a go after work tomorrow ( fingers crossed )

I will let you guys know how I got on

Seems like a good guide. One quickie before I go to bed and it is probably such a noobie question - how do I ensure my SD card is formatted to FAT32?

Got a day of work ahead of me but will be attempting this in approx 10hrs time or so.

Will the SD card in my Wii already be formatted to FAT32 or do I have to do something? Nopt sure how you get it formatted to FAT32

    Hi - remember me!!!

Im now attempting to do the guide:

    Point 1 - all ok

Point 2 - unable to action as my SD card is only 256mb ( 530mb required )

Point 3 - This is where I am having problems:

    b) Run Trucha Bug Restorer again, this time select to load IOS15 on first screen using dpad left/right, then select the IOS36 menu & install patched (select 'yes' on all 3 patches) IOS36 to slot 36, again using IOS from SD card.

    I do not have ISO36 available - only 35 & 37! What do I do?

Do I have to action this or can I go straight to Point 4 and upgrade to 4.1

NOTE - Also how do I know I have 250 blocks free when I do update

Followed it to the letter - can I not just upgrade without the CIOS?

Any ideas where I have gone wrong then?

I can follow Point 1 pretty well. I have even done Point 2 and saved my NAND

I just cant get the IOS36 option!!! I have made sure that the relevent .wad file is in the root of my sd card

In the Homebrew Channel I have even selected wad installer and selected to install IOS36 - this now appears on the Trucha Bug Restorer screen ( the only option though ) I press ok, then press 1 and the screen just hangs with ' please be patient....press any key to exit '

    Hi

Managed to sort Point 3 out

Now a problem with Point 4 when it actually comes to updating the system menu to 4.1

It seems to be working fine then I get the following error:

    Installing System Menu 4.1E - Please Wait....Installing title....ERROR! (ret = -1036 )

I have read I need to install a patched IOS60 - is this case? If so is there a download link and some instructions?
