bootmii ios backup nand

does installing bootmii as an ios and then backing up you NAND save your wii from bricks without a preloader

and also another question: when softmodding 4.2U and after uninstalling ios 249 do i need to delete the files that were used to uninstall my ios and download the next part or just keep evrything on the same sd card?

bootmii as ios is not great, you cant access it if you brick completely. You might be able to get to it with preloader/hbc BUT there are many problems restoring a nand backup via ios (ie. It rarely works).

you should be fine leaving everything on the card till you have finished.
