I soft mod'd my wii and have been able to play downloaded backup ISO's in the past. I am running v3.2U, HBC and backup launcher & ios36 4.18. i can still play my backup burned dvd's & straight copies of them... but when I create ISO's of them, and then burn them, I get the famous error #002!
I'm using same ver ImgBurn and Verbatim DVD+R as first downloads and copies.
any help would be appreciated. Thx.
error 002 would be fixed by using neogamma r7.
you should use DVD-R NOT +R as +R discs put more strain on your Wii's laser.
I have obtained neogamma r7 wad and installed... I'm just getting a black screen and hear the WII wizn every so often. could it just be the +R's... I use the R+ since they worked in the past.
you might want to make sure you have cIOS38 rev14 as well,
i'll try that. However... if nothing has changed with the ISO's, media or the Wii (no upgrades), why would I start getting this error even with the older original iso? I believe I am burning them the same way as when I first burned. what is really confusing is copied DVD backups work fine. Weird.
