so i get brought to the main menu and i click the USB loader GX..
it keeps saying "waiting for your slow USB device : 30 seconds..
counts down and brings me back to the main menu. did i not install something correctly?

yessir, i tried both before coming on. does it matter what kinda ext hd it is? i have a seagate freeagent (purchased a few yrs ago)
does it matter what kind of format it is in? exFAT or NTSC?

And your hard-drive has to be format to WBFS by either formatting with usb loader gx on wii or WBFS manager 3.0 on your pc.
so the HD is on the compatible list.. it says i need to "You have to disable standby (set idle time to Never) with Seagate Manager before you format it!"
i'm going to do that and report back
the normal USB HDD advice to take not of is that the WBFS partition should be set primary and active.Quote:
