Thread: USB Loader GX is on wii but doesn't work?

    ok so that didn't help. the loader still not recognizing it.

    Point taken even though when I used Windows 7 it did for me so I forget about that part.

    holy crap. my wii won't do anything past the first screen now. i turned around and my son was pressing buttons. WTF do i do now?

    What were you doing when he started pushing buttons and first screen of what wii menu ,usb loader ?

    That is why if I am going to do anything to my wii other than add games I wait till the family is gone.

    false alarm.... i turned the machine off and turned it back on and it works now

    i bought this wii for my 5 yr old. i don't intend on playing it but want to load games so he can.

    Yeah I understand completely that is why I set up my wii to load directly to Usb loader gx that way won't mess with any of the settings and only play the games that I have on the hard drive.

    alright so i bought a new hard drive just now. the wii detects it now
