    how to install different Ios

    Hi hope someone is kind enough to help me.. so far i have managed to soft mod my wii and play various games except punch out and beatles rock band reading numerous notes think i may need to update my ios? but this is where Im stuck.
    on my sd card i have the following: - backup launcher 0.3 gamma, gamma 002 fix with sound and in the root of sd card ive got IOS36-64-v1042.wad - oh its a 3.4.
    in the apps folder got cios36rev7
    if you can help will you make it really simple because I have been lost throughout all the other threads!

    POTHSPROJECTS • View topic - CIOS REV 14 RELEASED! *Download*

    Download cios rev 14 and put it in your apps folder and launch through homebrew, you will need to be connected to the net. Also ge hold of neogamma r7

    omg! how old was the guide you followed?

    cIOS36 rev 14 is latest.
    gamma 0.3 is replaced by neogamma r7.
    002 fix is built into neogamma.

    wad files go into the wad directory of your sd to be installed by wadmanager via homebrew channel.

    yes it was an old guide i think i followed from you tube!! anyhow thanks managed to do the above and beatles now works! however punchout does not - it does get further than the black screen and loads the title then states "The disk could not be read" any ideas?

    That is more a bad disc burn type of error than the plain black screen freeze of a missing IOS. Try re-burning the disc-Verbatim DVD-R ImgBurn 4X first, if no joy, try again at 2.4X or 2X speed.

    ok thanks will give it another go - think originally did 4x will try lower - failing that I have heard you can load from a usb - what do i have to use to do this thanks
