How to burn Wii Games from torrent sites?

hello everyone, i downloaded a few games from a torrent site, it was in .rar format, i unrar'd it and now (for the sake of the name of the game) its called scooby(compress).iso now i tied to burn it using ImgBurn, after the burn is completed i checked the dvd to see what was written and nothing was there yet i looked at the disk and i can see that it has written something, it just dosent load anything, i have modded my wii using "Full hacking guide for 4.2 system menus!!!!" is there something im missing? also if i have forgoten to meantion something in this post to complete my question please let me know. thanx for your time in reading this...

1. Sometimes the torrent download can be bad. You can do a quick check by the size- 4.37GB by Windows and on ImgBurn should show as at least 4,699,979,776 bytes.

2. Another way to check the ISO before wasting a DVD is to see if a patch program can read the ISO-use ISOPatch, Brickblocker or RegionFrii-not to patch-the loaders take care those issues now-just to read the ISO.

3. How did the DVD load-did you receive an error when using NeoGamma?

4. Use Verbatim DVD-R, ImgBurn or Nero at 4X, if fail, then 2.4X *

im not recieving any errors using NeoGamma, just a black screen and it seems to freeze there.

also i am not using verbatim dvd-r, ill try and get some tomorrow,

What game are you trying to burn? A black screen often means the game needs an IOS that your Wii does not have installed.
