i am newbie to the gaming world, just bought a wii (never had any video game before in life). the first day i started it, it asked to update and as anyone can imagine, i pressed Yes and got updated to 4.2U.
Then started the hacking process. I read almost 100 pages on internet and thought the FULL GUIDE FOR HACKING 4.2 on this website would be the best thing to go. I did everything exactly as this guide said. everything went fine without any errors. i got hbc, dvdx, bootmii - all of them work fine. i can start Neogamma from SD card and play the official Wii Sports game that came with Wii from Neogamma. I dont have preloader installed though, thought that could give me a problem as still a newbie.
The problem is that i cannot seem to run any backup game. i dont have any personal backed up game though i downloaded a few as iso torrents and tried all of them. Checked the filesizes before burning them, they are all good. Burned with Imgburn at 2x speed. When i try to run these games through Neogamma, it reads the disc, recognizes the game, gives me the loading options. But when i press on Load game on DVD, it flickers the screen for a second, gives a green second for a split second and then goes back to Wii Menu.
I would appreciate any idea that i can try (or something i may be missing) that would let me run backed up games?
