Need help with 4.2 and others.
Hi, I'm a newbie at this hacking stuff, not a complete noob, but one nonetheless. I have a 4.2U Wii, HBC channel and a problem.
I have a backup I wanted to play today and it loaded then went to a black screen. So I searched and searched the internet and couldn't find a valid solution to my problem. So I decided to fix the problem myself. I should have left well enough alone, but being me, I didn't. So here's what I did:
I had some .wads left over from a guide which told me to "Uninstall" these wads instead of installing them. Well being the bright little bugger I am, I decided to INSTALL these not-so-lovely little wads and that's where it all started. Now anytime I want to install a wad using the IOS249 it instantly freezes, no error, no other screen, just freezes, and if I try to install it with another IOS I get a ret error. That's about really the only problem, but I'm scared it will affect other things in my Wii, such as running my other backups. Also if I try to run some of the other HBC Apps it also freezes.
These Wads that I *STUPIDLY* installed are:
IOS222-64-v65280.wad
IOS223-64-v65280.wad
IOS249-64-v65280.wad
IOS250-64-v65280.wad
So am I stuck, is there a way to fix it? ANY help is greatly appreciated. Thank You
