So i'm playing Zelda.....and my wii shuts off.
Ok so as I said i'm having a bit of trouble. My wii is soft modded, after following the guide here http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html
The first day I ran my ISO's off USB loader GX I had no problems all of my games ran smooth(Zelda: Twighlight princess, Mario Kart, DBZ budokai Tenkaichi 2) all of which had worked perfect on the first day. After that first day all of a sudden after playing ANY game my Wii will shut off entirely and the power light will not even be on. Infact the ONLY way I could get my wii to come back on was to unplug the power from the wii or from the wall. After doing so the power button would have a red light and I could turn it on and everything is working fine. This problem repeats itself at various times while playing a game off my USB and it always happens in the middle of a game, up until the point it shuts off its working smooth and fine.
My Wii's firmware is running on 4.3 and my cIOS version i'm using is cIOSX rev20b.
So far I have tried removing Iso's from my usb that I had put on there between the time it was working fine and when this problem happened and i'm still getting the same results.
I have also tried removing all my files from my SD card and replacing them with the ones provided in the file pack provided in the description of this video

Sounds like a problem with the hardware to me.
Check that the fans are all working? If not, it may be overheating.
Try playing it with a disk game for a while to see if the same problem happens.

Thank you! That was exactly the problem, I did what you said and the disks had the same problem, just got a laptop usb fan from radio shack and set the wii ontop of it and its all good now. Thank you again!

Get a tri-wing screwdriver off Ebay and open it up. See if the fan spins when powered. Also, buy some Arctic-5 thermal compound and clean off the heatsinks and re-apply with that.
