    IOS249 Freezes

    Hello,
Am trying to update some wads on my Wii and when I go into either MMM or Wad Manager 1.7 after selecting IOS249 my system freezes on me. MMM states that it doesn't recognize the SD Card then freeze and Wad Manager 1.7 freezes after selecting 249. Primarily want to add wads for RB3

It's been a while since modifying my system so not sure if I should start over with updating my system to 4.3 or leave it alone as is. I've attached my WIiSyscheck for anyone who can help.

    Thanks,

    Thanks,
Your 249 is stubbed out, which means that effectively, you don't have one.

You are also running a version of HBC lower than what we recommend.

I would suggest you go through our Softmod Any Wii guide, which is linked in my signature, and mod your system from the top down, in full.

I would include the Menu 4.1 and IOS Update in addition to Priiloader, which you don't have installed, in addition to everything else that the guide doesn't mark as optional.

Thanks for advice. I'll start working on that to get it sorted out. I actually started looking at that guide and got stuck because the zip files on my mac dont properly extract for some reason, even tried the suggested archive extractor. Not a big deal though.

    Thanks again.

update - so I followed through with the updates as suggested and I'm having an issue with getting DLC content from RB3. Not sure if its related but it keeps popping up with a internet connection issue error code. is this something on my end that I need to fix?

Did you update the Wii shop channel to the latest version (v21) when you modded the system?
