Softmod Guide np.. Question about after it's done..

So if I've followed http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html in it's entirety & all is well..

What happens if I want to install DarkCorp 1.1..

Can I just do that or am I going to have a bad time when it overwrites whatever that guide did ?

I'm interested in playing games right from the Disc channel that's why I'm considering Darkcorp..

Your Wii would have to be at least four, maybe five years old in order to even have the ability to do that. What's the difference between loading a loader and then selecting a game and sticking it into the disc channel? USB is the way to go nowadays, will out-perform any optical media.

Well.. because it's easy for me since I'm doing it for my friends to say alright folks burn games as you'd like them.. put'm in like you would normally & rock & roll.. makes it easy for them too..

And becaaaauuuse I'm kind of intimidated by the loaders beeecaaauuuse idk which formats are compliant..

Does the hard drive / flash drive need to be Fat32 ? Will NTFS work ? Does it need to be that WBFS madness ?

What about games.. will the loaders load .iso ?

Those are the reasons I thought k gaiz burn games play games bai now..

Instead of.. read all this.. & this.. & this too.. then there's this.. don't forget about this.. this is important too.. no that's wrong don't read that read this.. who told you to read that ? this is better.. you're all fools this is the way.. oh really I've been doing it this way..

The guide for theming is --> DON'T.

That's the best way to brick your system.

Sure sure I getcha ty :-)

As far as the USB loaders go does it pretty much come down to a matter of preference once the guide setup is done & they're all available ?

Yes. Once one loader works with your hard drive, all of them should.

I suppose attempting to remove the stock channels is also a pretty great way for those determined to brick the Wii to succeed huh.. or is it even not possible without some serious haxxorin' ?

I think there is a guide to remove some of the old contents, but in general, those junk channels are small and won't give you hardly any space back. I just moved them to the last page of my Wii Menu so I wouldn't see them again.
