    Could someone help a Newbie?

Have completed the softmod of the wii. Started rippping games to my usb hard drive. The games show up, but when I click on start after the game loads, it just goes back to the HomeBrew screen and I have to launch the usb loader agan. But the same thing happens again. What am I doing wrong? How do I play games after they are put on an external hard drive? Thanks.

First step is to make sure you properly modded your system by using our Softmod Any Wii guide instead of someone else's hacked up version of a guide.

Next, check the FAT32 guide for how to format and install contents to the hard drive.

Both guides are linked in my signature.

Not sure which guide I used, but it was not yours. what is the best way to undo what I have done and do it by your guide? Is this possible or could I just do it over top what I have already done?

This is the guide I used Removed External Link

Wow. Please review the site rules. Multiple posting is not allowed. If you want to add more info to a post not replied, edit it vs. replying to yourself. Links to external guides are not allowed. We don't care what crap guide you followed, we don't want others making the same mistake.

Now if you've read the Softmod Any Wii guide, you wouldn't be asking the question you just asked.
