Us Need help loading CTGP Revolution v.1.03 via any Backup Manager

    Hello,

I need some help. I'm trying to run CTGP Revolution v.1.03 using a Backup Manager. (i.e. USB Loader GX, Neogamma, CFG USB Loader, etc.) How would I go about doing this? My Mario Kart Wii retail disc broke; but I made a backup using Wii Backup Manager before it happened. I'm trying to figure out if there is an alternative way to load the game.

I am using a Black Wii; so running it via burned disc is not possible.

All help is appreciated. Thank you in advance,

    thegrillisreal

There are ways you can launch the game by disc using a USB Loader to access the custom channel, but the custom channel has bugfixes for tracks, updates will also change the internal region ID and you'd have to patch each course yourself and then rebuild the ISO every time an update occurs. As far as I know, there isn't any 100% alternative to it. I suppose you could build the ISO yourself, but like I said, every update you'd have to rebuild it.

    Thank you for your help.

I wouldn't mind, actually rebuilding the ISO. How would I go about doing that/what all would I need to do to make an ISO of the initial v.1.03 patch? Some of my friends have the v.1.02 of CTGP Revolution, and I was curious on how I would be able to do that, anyway.

I know there is an ISO converter floating around, but I don't know if it has been updated to work with the latest release. It works by extracting the original ISO, copying all the new files that would normally be added in by Riivolution ( or in this case, the channel ), and would then copy it back into an ISO, or whatever format you would choose. I don't even remember where I heard of this tool, let alone where to find it though. I can confirm it worked for v1.02 though, if I can find it in my storage HDD or online I'll let you know. I'm sure it would be possible to modify it to work with v1.03.

    Thanks a lot!

It would be cool, actually if I could learn how to do it and be a help to someone else. I've had a lot of Wii help over the years, and even though the Wii's lifespan is about to be over, I could still learn a lot more. I really appreciate it.
