    upgrade modded 4.1U to 4.3U

    Hi,

I have a modded Wii 4.1U and I want to play Just dance 2014 , but apparently it 4.1u doesn't support it . So I plan to upgrade it to 4.3U ( I believe it will then support Just Dance 2014).

Is there any step by step guide for upgrading a modded 4.1U to 4.3U ?

    Thank you so much!

The menu version doesn't matter, only the IOSs installed.

Remod your system using Softmod Any Wii guide and be sure to install IOS Update as part of chapter 2.

Then make sure priiloader is installed and configured to block updates. Then your game should run just fine.

That game uses cIOS 250 (not 249), so make sure when you're done you use that cIOS.

By the way, before I start I just want to make sure that the steps on "Softmod Any Wii guide" will work on a MODDED 4.1U wii ...?
My wil is a 4.1U and MODDED so there is a homebrew menu and all the stuffs. The reason I want upgrade to 4.3U is that I have an original just dance 2014 cd that if I try to play, it instructs me to upgrade the firmware first.

    Sorry for the trouble.
    Thank you

Is your modded Wii in the subset of "Any Wii"?

And didn't I already answer this questions?

    I. Think you have answered my question, I just want to make sure before I go head. So basically my last question is : do I need to go through the same step of "modding any wii" even if my wii is already modded ? Because what I need right now is a modded 4.3 while currently it is a modded 4.1.
    Thank you

No. You don't need a modded 4.3 system. You need a current system. Menu version be damned. It can be 4.3, 4.1, even 3.x if you want. Menu version doesn't matter. Only the contents of the mod.

So to answer your question for the third time, YES! Follow the guide in full.

    hi llafer,

    It works !!

I followed all the steps and it all works exactly as on the guide.

At some steps, I need to force the wii on by pressing the power button on the console for a few seconds. Maybe the guide can be updated by adding that instruction...
    Thank you !
