Can't seem to get IOS249 to install

I am trying to install it to make GC Backup Launcher to work...

    Any way to install it?

I tried following some video, but didn't work...

I really need to get this done quickly...

I am running 4.3u, by the way

Try reading through the site rules again. You will see that linking to external guides are not allowed (usually because most of them suck, as you found out that yours did, otherwise you wouldn't be here).

See the Softmod Any Wii guide linked in my signature. Do not format, uninstall, or delete anything. Just follow the guide and mod your system on top of however you have it now.

GC BackupLauncher isn't really current either. If you are trying to use Dios Mios, we have a guide for that too. The three USB Loaders that you get in chapter 3 of Softmod Any Wii will work with DM as well. Devolution is also an option to get GameCube games to run off of USB. Others are more versed in that one than DM, but DM is what I use.

Links to DM, Devoultion, and USB Loader links all exist in my signature.

And don't try to do things "quickly". That's what causes problems and bricks. Take your time, read everything thrice before you do anything, and do the right thing the first time.

Does DIOS-MIOS support backups burnt on a disc?

And what cIOS installer you recommend (If I need to for DIOS-MIOS)?

Also, I am having way too much headaches since it's too complex (Building a computer is more simpler than this)...

Yes, I know I am too new for softmodding and these outdated guides clustering everywhere (I need something more current and up-to-date).

I'm pretty sure the DM guide states that it will take AWAY the ability to play burned games. So, no, it doesn't support playing burnt games.

As for the other questions, how many of the guides that I mentioned have you actually read? Cause I believe if you read them, you wouldn't be asking these questions.

I thought it took away the ability to play retail GC games myself. Previous poster doesn't really identify what games for what system. Regardless, if he's hell bent I offer the following:

Do this and then do this.

Note: the above will only work if your Wii is old enough to read burned discs. If it's not, there's absolutely no point to the second link.

My Wii is pretty old (Bought it in ~2006-2007).

Will that count for loading burnt discs for softmodding?
