With all due respect, SNES's elaboration was for the purpose of explaining why your second post was not offering viable information. The installation of one Mios file cancels any other files. Switching between Mios Lite and Mios WADs is the only way to interchange between SD and USB loading styles for Dios Mios, and is an operation often times carried out by many Dios Mios users. As previously stated, a friend's 16 gigabyte SD was able to run GC games with ease on the setup my console had before I posted anything on this forum. At that time, we actively interchanged between Dios Mios and Dios Mios Lite in various attempts to boot the games on both USB and SD. This never caused an issue.

SNES_Master, I just wanted to remind you that I listed the version and revision of the loader I am using above as you asked, just in case there's any helpful information there.

Just looking at your system check shows no reason why Dios Mios, normal or Lite, shouldn't be working for you. I will check and see if that revision is compatible but thus far your issue has me stumped. You're absolutely 100% sure your USB and SD devices are Dios Mios (Lite) compatible and properly formatted (ie FAT32, 32kb Cluster size, primary and active)?

You said your drive is broken. You mean like "can't read," or is electrically dead? If the latter, most certainly an issue.

It just can't read discs. I think I accidentally scratched the laser in an attempt to clean it.

How does it validate GC discs then, and how do you rip them?

We don't offer counsel on this because the way our guides are setup, we require and expect you to do so.

I'd rip my own games if I had the ability to do so. With a broken disc drive, there's little I can do.

Buy a drive off Ebay, like I did? Problem solved. What you are doing is circumventing something that the developers put into place for a reason.

Is there a method by which I can rip discs on my computer? And if I were to attain files by those means (clean rips), would it be a sure thing that Devolution would run them?
