USB Loader GX issue (maybe others)

To start. I have had my Wii for about 8 years.
I added a Wiikey about 6 months after purchase and then had it soft-modded shortly after. Everything has worked great until Yesterday.
Decided to update things since I could not get a game to play. I updated Homebrew to 1.1.0. I then loaded updated files to SD card to update USB Loader GX and anything else. Well after doing what should have been 1-2-3, I was left with the loader not launching to play games. It did however launch and allow game play through Homebrew. It's just the channel shortcut on the main menu will not work. I click it, click START and then it goes Black and I have to reboot the unit and go though Homebrew and launch Loader GX to play games.

Perhaps I did not update correctly, left out files, accidentally removed files ... I do not know.
I dont mind launching Loader GX through the Homebrew but I dont trust the kids well enough to remember and not mess something up (as I did!)
I can not tell you what the mod was done with all those years ago but have included the sysfile to see what may be wrong.
I am not versed in modding and did not do the mod all those years ago. It was done for me and I just played the games.
I would like to get the loader channel working again if possible. Not sure if that means removing everything on SD card and loading new, correct files ... ?

Any help would be appreciated and any other needed info just ask and I will provide what I can.

    Spoiler

    Evaluator:

Your Softmod is waaaaaaay out of spec. HBC should run on IOS 58 (USB2.0 support and you're missing it). Your Hermes (222/223) are identical right down to base and shouldn't be. cIOS 249 is out of date (we use d2x V8 final) and cIOS 250 is wrong base. A lot of things are missing. Suggest you follow this guide. Remove HBC via installer before you do (so that it will reinstall and use 58 when following our guide). Then do the previously linked guide from the beginning.

I had a feeling I would have to redo this entire thing. I hope I can do it!?
As for removing HBC. How do I go about doing that?

Thank you for the reply and help.

start the hackmii installer like indicated in the guide. An option that should then exist is to uninstall HBC. Once uninstalled, you can turn around and reinstall it like you otherwise would and resume the modding guide.

Want to give BIG THANKS for the help and to that guide linked.
I now have my Wii working great and even have a few things I didnt have before.
I do still have issue with the game that started all this mess (Just Dance 2014 / Black screen) but at least I have all my others playing without issue.

Big thanks guys. Really appreciate it!

    EDIT:
I set the game to 250 and works flawlessly.

I have a question about 'leftovers'
The old MOD had some emulators for Atari, NES and some oddball games my Brother thought the kids would like. UNO is one of those.
The new MOD SDcard does not have any of these but I still have the channels. What do I do to remove these? I cant use them and there is no need for them since the SDcard doesn't contain the games anymore to read. It would also clean up the main Wii menu.

Go to the Wii's settings menu and click data management, then channels. That is the easiest way. There's another way but if you do something wrong you risk bricking the system so I don't usually recommend it.

If I spelled something wrong, I'll just blame it on auto-correct

    Thanks for the help.
I totally forgot that I backed up my SD card before doing all this.
I have my roms still so can I assume that I can just add them to the SD card and they will work?

As long as you have an emulator to play them with, yes. Just be sure to put them in the correct location (rom path) on the SD card.
