USB Loader GX: Loading...Initialize usb device

    Good morning everyone,

This is the first time this has happened to me

I purchased a brand new Lexar USB 16GB key. (tried 2 keys)
Converted it to WBFS format using wbfs manager
Loaded my games into the drive

When I run USB Loader GX it hangs in the Loading...Initialize usb device

I tried another usb key (16GB Kingston) wbfs formatted with games and it has no issues.

Is the usb the problem? or is there a way around this?

    Thanks!

There are quite a few things that could cause that behavior; cIOS version, format, drive compatibility. Firstly, wbfs format is no longer the preferred format. Fat32 is. See the fat32 guide in our tutorials section.
Second, drive compatibility can vary depending on the cios version used. If you have not already done so, follow our Softmod Any Wii guide to get your mod to where we believe is the best config.
Third, no matter how you dice it, some drives just plain won't work. Try the other options first.

You could try installing a newer version of d2x to see if that would help with the compatibility.
