    Soft mod problems

I softmodded my childrens wii quite sometime ago, 4.3 if i remember correctly.

A few months ago i struggled to get any game to play, now every game i try to install to the USB thumb stick just fails to work.

I'm not sure if anything has been tampered with with little fingers or if it is something that is out dated.

Is there any way to reset the entire thing and re do the soft mod? I have been through various menus but to be honest i have no idea what i am looking for. The soft mod was a tutorial that i followed so no brain work on my part.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you
    Paul

Follow the softmod any wii in my signature. Following the whole thing will essentially reset it for you.

FYI, the system menu version means nothing. More details in the newbies guide, also in my signature.

Thank you. I had a good read through yesterday, excellent write up. Going to re-do mine later today.

Just wanted to say thank you very much. I managed to get it done today and it went very smooth thanks to your instructions. I now plan to burn my daughters 30 plus games to a USB stick and pray it works this time.

Formatted the flash drive as per instructions, thank you. I ripped a couple of games and after uploading the covers all worked well. Very slow to rip but i just leave it to it. I then tried to rip one the Mario games, uploaded covers on completion, clicked on the game and the screen was black with the start button at the bottom, clicked on start and the wii reset itself. Typical that this 6GB rip took near to 2 hours and doesn't work and i did nothing different.
