cIOS Installer Select CIOS Base hang?

    Hello.
I tried to install cIOS on my wii after following this guide: External Link Removed
However, As soon as I reach the point in the cIOS installation were I have to select the base (options being IOS 38 (Recommended), 38 merged with 37, and 38 merged with 60) and I attempt to select the recommended option the Wii stops responding, my only option being to reset it causing it to work fine again.

I'm trying to get USBloader GX to work, is cIOS required for this, and is there something I need to do to get it to work properly?
    I'm using a 4.3e Wii.

    Thanks in advance.

If you had read the rules that you accepted this morning, you would have known we don't allow links to external guides. Since we believe our guide is the best, why would we want to direct others to crap guides (which this one obviously is, or you wouldn't be here asking questions).

Right, I went for the other guide because it had a nice and detailed video, but I guess I'll try and do it with this.
    Thanks, I suppose?

Videos can't be changed once they are out there.

Allright. I followed the tutorial, and it works all nice and good, except it's not detecting my games.
I put a copy of SSB brawl (Which I have a physical copy off) on a WD 1tb external hard disk, plugged 'er in, and booted up USB loader GX.
It doesn't detect the game, but it does detect all the software on the hard disk and the hard disk size (it said: 600 out of 900gb available, or something like that).
I put the game in a folder named Wii Games, and it's an ISO file.

Why don't you use the physical disk and the Install function of GX to install your own rip from the disk to hard drive?

See the FAT32 or NTFS guides linked in my signature for more information on how to properly install a game to the hard drive.
