Time to update from old configusb v58 to new

    Hi All,

I have softModed WII 4.3U couple of years back and it has BootMii, configusb v58 and Homebrew channel 1.0.8.

I have some downtime this weekend, thought spend sometime to update old with new packages. Please advise.

    Thanks.

    Softmod Any Wii guide

and I moved this to a more appropriate area. I don't think you declaring you want to remod your 3-year-old mod is a "hot topic".

Thanks llaffer for your quick update.

The link you have posted is for new fix, not for updating existing versions of software (homebrew 1.0.8, Bootmii, configusb 58) found on Wii. Please share pointer for upgrade.

Is your Wii somehow outside of the subset of "any wii"? If you think that, you've not read the guide.

    Yes, agreed.

I have this confusion whether "Chapter 3- The Final Step" is enough to have existing software updated or go thru all steps for upgrade.

You still have HBC 1.0.8. Any issues you have are not just your loaders.

    YOUR MOD IS OLD!

    Clear enough, yet?

I have both old ConfigUSB and new "USB Loader GX" on the channel listing. Any idea how to clean it up? (I have removed it from HBC listing though)!

you can go to Wii Settings -> Data Management -> Channels and delete any channel you no longer wish to see on the Wii Menu.
