Blackscreen wii hanged when loading wbfs games from sd card!

I've softmodded my wii as per maui's tutorial guide. Everything installed fine with 0 errors.

Only issues I've been having now is not being able to connect to the internet (wired)
and most games upon start go into blackscreen.

I was able to get one game to work fine and played it for a few minutes off the SD card.
The SD card was formatted to FAT32 and I made a folder named it wbfs. Then I put my wbfs
games in that folder. When plugging it into the wii console, I go into CFG loader and it reads
and shows the games. But when I click on START, it loads (IOS249 ......,then it says RELOAD BLOCKED and then it goes into a black screen).

Does anyone know why these games are loading on black screens (I have to hold the power button down for 7 seconds or so to turn it off). As I mentioned, one of the games actually worked fine but the rest don't. Is it a software setting or IOS issue? Or could it be something else??

Really baffled by this. I've done tons of searching around wii forums and can't find anything helpful.

Other pertinent info: my wii was 4.3K downgraded to 4.1K, my base IOS is IOS56 (i don't know what this means).
And another IOS it says is IOS249. I don't know if buying a new wii (Aug. 2013) has new patches or something
that is making it difficult. What is IOS60? I keep seeing this...is this a newer IOS i should update to?

EDIT: also someone said that wii's bought after mid to late 2009 can no longer run games off of burned DVDs?? Is this true? So Neogamma is useless for me? Is the only way to run games now is to use a ext HDD and format it to FAT32 and put all my wbfs
games there? Or should I run the games as ISOs?

Try to change to language setting in the loader from console to disc or English. Game loader defaults to console language, which should be Korean in your case. Most games will load to a black screen if they do not support the language that it is loaded on. Also it could be the iso, you can check the hash with a backup manager or use wit to make sure the dump is good. You sd card could also be the issue, perhaps try loading from something else.

Likely it is the language, give that a try.

Ok, I was able to change the language setting to ENGLISH in the loader settings (GX USB Loader) and the game worked so it seemed like it was the language setting that caused the blackscreen. I also want to post my syscheck. Can anyone tell me if I need to update something? The issues I'm having now are my external hdd (NTFS) is not being detected/intialized by the wii. When I use an SD card and use it as USB mass storage device, only some games show up in the menu and not all. They were saved as wbfs files on a fat32 formatted sd card.

    Spoiler

Thanks. Do you know why the "initialize usb device" part at USB Loader GX or CFG (whichever one I use) always takes about 3-4 minutes or so to initialize before it opens and loads the menu? I have to wait that amount of time each time I want to quit a game and try a different game. I'm running wbfs file games off a sd card via usb card adapter (port 0).

Oh and, my wii only came with motion plus remote and I think some of the games and apps don't work with a motion plus remote so I'm constantly stuck and having to hard reset the system. Is it recommended that we should buy a normal wii remote AND a gamecube remote? It seems a lot of apps/games require them in order to use it (for example: Neogamma).

Ok, everything works fine now. I have put all my games in an external hdd (NTFS format) and it reads iso and wbfs games perfectly fine. Loader's intialize the hdd instantly and I can load all menus and games now. Thanks for everyone's help!
