    Hardmodding

    Does not allow for homebrew
Most do not allow for USB disc loading.

This pretty much makes hardmodding useless to me.
(And will be careful regarding links.)

Sorry if I am a little slow to pick things up.
I was confused thinking that even after softmodding a hardmoded wii,
the above 2 things mentioned in Red would still apply.
Your indirect replies seem to indicate that that is not the case.
    Thanks!

It basically means that if you hard mod, it doesn't do anything for homebrew. The system can still be soft modded to allow the homebrew and capabililty to play games from USB for the "best of both worlds" sort of thing, though most softmodding now pretty much makes most hard modding obsolete, so you really don't need to hardmod at all.

    Unless you're buying a unit pre-hard-modded, I wouldn't worry about it.
