    Ripped games to USB drive

Hi everyone. I need a little help in finding a guide to install ripped GC games on a USB drive and then how to get to play them off the USB drive. My Wii is softmoded and plays both Wii and GC ripped games that are on disk. It also plays Ripped Wii games off the USB drive. My problem is that I can not seem to find a guide on here that will guide me as to how to add ripped GC games to my USB drive and then play them off the USB drive like I do the Wii games. Hope that this is not too confusing, and that someone can give me a little guidance. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.

Check out the Devolution Guide in my signature, that should do what you need. If you require any help with the guide, comment in it and I'll help if I can

Devolution is the best and SNES Master has an excellent guide for it as long as you have access to your working original copies for verification (back up discs will not work for verification). The other option for USB game loading is dios mios (no verification required) which there is also a guide for. Both require the hard drive be formatted as FAT32 with 32 kb cluster size in order to work. Dios Mios also has the side effect of removing the ability to play gamecube backups from disc and I think it also will mess up originals if they have compatibility issues with Dios Mios (mostly games that have audio streaming will have audio issues). Dios Mios bascially replaces and over writes your wii's gamecube mode while Devolution leaves it be and is basically an application that plays gamecube (and has better compatibility I believe). A third gamecube USB loader is also in development called Nintendont which looks to be similar to devolution with out requiring original discs for verification.
