    Bootmii ios question

Quick question, when I load The ios version of bootmii it goes to a black screen with the wii lights flashing at a steady pace. All i need to know is if this is a good sign or a bad sign. Also can you direct me to the correct forum to ask this question.

Your post leaves out much. What are you trying to do? What System Menu and region? Did you follow our "Softmod ANY Wii" guide? I'd hope you're not trying to restore a NAND image with BootMii installed only as IOS. What issues are you having that you're attempting to invoke BootMii?

Sorry about leaving out info. i run a 4.3 us wii, hacked with letterbomb. I did not read the "Softmod ANY Wii" prior to posting the thread. I am not having any issues at the moment but i wanted to know that i had bootmii installed incase i did mess up and i had that to fall back on since it was one of the three apps that i saw should be downloaded incase i did brick my wii

The reason your getting a black screen when trying to load in to bootmii is because you don't have the bootmii folder on the root of the sd card.

Put it there and then make a back up. You should already have the file if you used our guide.

If it's BootMii installed as IOS only, the real purpose of this is to make a back up of your NAND. If you'd fully brick (read: render your Wii totally non-functional) it, the only recourse would be to send it to a NAND programmer along with your NAND image.

You should make a post HERE as strongly recommended by site rules. You'd get excellent starter links, which I do believe would benefit you.

    That makes sense

I forgot that i had a problem where my sd card had formatted and it must have been a file i had been missing. Thank you both for the quick help.
