I have some operational questions....can you assist?

Been playing around with my soft modded wii for a few months now, and I have a few questions on proper operation. I am sure there are answers to these, I just cannot find them via the forum search. So, here they are....

    1. How do you exit a Wii game and return to my USBLoader GX menu, and not the main Wii menu?
    2. How do you exit a GC game and return to my USBLoader GX menu, and not the main Wii menu?

    much thanks!

I don't use GX, but I know that in configurable usb loader there is a "Return to" title option -- in this case you specify the title id of the forwarder you want to "return to" after a game exits, and it will launch that title.

Another option would be to bypass the system menu entirely via Priiloader & have it launch directly into your loader. Using this option, no additional changes are necessary. The only downside to it is that it becomes a bit harder to get to system menu should you want to (have to hold down reset during boot to get into prii).

As far as I have been able to test (using USB Loader GX + Devolution) the closest you can get to what you're trying to do is to return to the Homebrew channel. This is accomplished by playing a GC game then pressing the power button on the system when you're done

For Wii games just go to the main GX settings, choose loader settings then look for the "Return to..." Option. Change it to USB Loader GX and that will return to USB loader GX. I believe you need a forwarder for USB GX installed for this.

    nice, thanks all.

I will give this a try tonight.

    While I have ya here

any ideas on how to troubleshoot this one?

I am having issues getting my USB drive to load up my N64 games using Wii64. Are there any updated fixes for this, or items I need to look into/check? I have a compatible USB HDD (currently plays Wii, GC and other emulators fine). When I fire up Wii64 and try to load the games via USB, it fails to find them. I have them properly added to the USB HDD and in the correct directory structure as well.

    thx again

Hmm, try Not64 and see if that works.

    ok, one last question

Are there some channel loaders for the main emulators? I see you can use customizemii to build game loaders for the main wii channel screen. Can that also be used to create say a for Wii2600, Not64 channel to load the emulators?

    thanks!

Yes, you can use CustomizeMii to create a channel for the emulators if you wish. If you don't feel like making your own/don't know how, you can also browse through the pre-made ones CustomizeMii lets you use and download one of them.

    AWESOME

This is what I was looking for. Will help make navigation for the kids (and myself) much easier. Cannot wait to have a NES, SNES, N64, Atari, & MAME channel on my Wii channel screen!

Thanks again, this is a get community
