Pal Wii Sports Resort, how many partitions should the iso have?

    Hi all,

I've been trying to find info on this problem on the forums, but I haven't seen anyone else with my issues. Many people seem to have the black screen problem, but the fix is usually to run the disc as normal and get a save file. This is not possible for me as my physical copy is Pal and my Wii is NTSC.

I've tried to use Wiiscrubber on the iso I've made of the disc, but I'm only seeing a Partition 0. Is this the only partition I should be seeing? If so, which dol file do I need to extract? The main.dol under the partition 0 or player.dol under partition 0/sys/mpls_movie ?

Neither seem to work as alt dol, but I may have set them up wrong.

Note: I've used mauifrogs wonderful softmod guide on my boot 2 compatible wii, and USB loader GX for my loader.

    Thanks for any help given!

All you have to do is install the disc with USB Loader GX and it will play.

You can run your PAL copy on USB loader GX, and going to the options, making sure that the video settings are set to either FORCE Wii or FORCE NTSC...
    Should run smoothly...

Maybe I've not been installing or running the game correctly, but neither of the above options have helped.
To the best of my knowledge I've installed the disc correctly and set the video to force NTSC. However, when I go to play the game it goes to a black screen and my controller turns off.
I've tried the guide for resort listed under the post 'Ultimate List of Troublesome Games and their Solutions!' and I've got the Wii Plus movies to play, but I still just get a black screen when I try to load the games.

That's why I was wondering how many partitions exist on the game disc.

Note: My Wii was softmodded using
mauifrogs guide with the only changes being apps I've placed on my SD card. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me where I've gone wrong because I'm really confused with this problem.
    Thanks

Yes, that's the only part of the game I can get to run correctly.

Post a syscheck. Maybe your mod isn't current and you are missing something required to get this to run.
