Can I install Dosbox without a keyboard?

I'm trying to install dosbox but all I have is a mini UBS wireless keyboard and it doesn't seem to work when I try to install dosbox. Can I install it without a keyboard? Thanks

According to wiibrew, nope. Personally, I'm unfamiliar (and it's not like wiibrew is infallible, lol).

No worries. Any idea why the Mini USB wouldn't work?

Not a clue (as stated, I'm unfamiliar). Did you try the other USB port?

Hmmm, didn't know you could use wireless ones anyway. New one on me.
My regular USB keyboards work fine though.

Yeah I was able to use the Mini Wireless fine with Monster Hunter Tri, but no dice with the dosbox. Guess I'll just have to pick up a regular keyboard. Gotta have that Day of the tentacle with the wiimote

If it's a USB keyboard that would require drivers be installed on a normal computer, it won't work with the Wii.

I bought this keyboard, which does its own pairing with the base so the Wii sees it the same as if it was a wired keyboard. I've used it with the Apple ][ emulator for Wii and works great.

Not positive, but I think originally ppl that were using backups to play monster hunter were using the Hermes Cios, that enabled an enhanced USB feature. They were doing similar methods to use pretend instruments in those pretend hero games. Maybe that has something to do with how it could work for games that use enhanced IOS or Cios for USB, but not home brew apps.
