[SOLVED] Usb loaders freeze during game installation

Hello, my problem is that whenever I try to install a game onto my hard drive, it freezes at a random point during the installation process and I am forced to hold down the power button to restart. It does this on Usb loader gx, wiiflow, and cfg usb loader. My wii menu version is 4.3u. I have tried this with the games Zelda Skyward Sword and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games and they both freeze.

Is your hard drive on the compatible list? How is it formatted? What versions of loaders are you trying? Can you post a syscheck (directions on how to do that are in my signature)?

The hard drive is a 32gb Kingston DT101 G2 USB drive formatted with a FAT32 file system and 32kb clusters. It is not on the compatibility list but I know for a fact that it works with usb loaders. I am using usb loader gx 3.0, wiiflow 4.1.2, and cfg usb loader mod v70r51. Syscheck:

I am not sure why this works, but I reinstalled waninkoko's cIOS installer 38r17 and then everything worked perfectly. Thanks for the help though!

It worked since your cIOSs were out of date and mostly missing, so you either installed one that was missing or updated it to a version that worked. You are likely still not what we consider current, so I would find the Mod Pack in chapter 2 of the Softmod any Wii guide and install it as instructed in the guide.

That should prevent any other issues from games needing a cIOS that isn't installed.
