Corrupted saves in Baten Kaitos Eternal Wings, DM v2.10

According to the Dios Mios compatibility list, there's an issue with the game and the save files becoming corrupted using NMM. Is there a workaround on this problem? I've tried disabling NMM and using a Gamecube memory card but the save files are still getting corrupted. My Wii is 4.3U, the game is the US version optimized with DMLizard and I'm using Dios Mios v2.10. The GC memory card is apparently non-defective because it works fine with other games.
Help on this would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Some games just don't work right with NMM...you could try Devolution and see if its emulated memory card has that issue.

I'm wondering if NMM is really the problem with this specific game because the saves are getting corrupted even when using an actual memory card. I haven't tried Devolution yet, I wasn't sure yet exactly what it is or how it works but I'll try it out and post the results on here when finished.
    Thanks for the response.

Devolution didn't work. After disabling NMM and enabling Devolution, the game displayed a message after loading it that said 'No memory card found' and only gave me the option either to quit or continue without saving. As a matter of fact I haven't been able to get devolution or NMM to work with any games so far.

Did you follow my guide (in my signature)? I tell how to use emulated memory in it.

I tried your guide but for some odd reason it's still not working. Using Wiiflow and tried several different games and each time it said there was no memory card in Slot A. And I did note that your guide mentions Wiiflow has no global Devolution activation so I applied the steps for each game. Something's amiss, probably on my end if it's proven to work for others, so I'll keep on trying.
    Thanks.

You're not using Memcard emulation and the physical memory card at the same time right? That is known to cause issues.

No. Well, actually I tried it with and without the physical card inserted. Do you think a different USB Loader might make a difference? The one you recommend, Loader GX, I had issues with pertaining to stubbed IOSs, couldn't originally figure out how to fix it, so I went with CFG, which I currently use for Wii games and it runs fine but it doesn't detect Gamecube games for some reason, so I tried Wiiflow for Gamecube. Wiiflow works great with all GC games I've tried so far, as long as I'm using the physical memory card to save. All games except Baten Kaitos Eternal Wings, which corrupts the saves whether I'm using the physical card or NMM. Your Devolution compatibility list shows no issues with the game so I'm gonna keep trying until I get Devolution to work.

After almost bricking my Wii (I think) I've since reinstalled a bunch of stuff using Modmii. Had to make it as idiot-proof as possible because I'm new at this softmodding stuff but I was having a lot of problems, like GX not working, the stubbed IOSs, my Wii was no longer able to read the USB drive and stuff like that. Modmii seemed to set things back in order for the most part. Thumb drive's readable again, CFG runs Wii games trouble-free, I can play VC games with no problem as well as emulators. So I'll try GX again and see if it works.

I would recommend 2 things: 1) post a SysCheck, ModMii (while a good program in its own right) is not the most reliable method of modding a Wii. A good number of users have cited issues with ModMii Softmods. And 2) Depends on your SysCheck...it would be a good idea to use our Softmod ANY Wii guide linked in my signature. I can't guarantee that it will fix your specific issue (which is why I'm asking to see a SysCheck before saying definitely do it) but it also couldn't hurt.
