usnig nunchuck leads to dsi exception error?

Last night my wii remote/nunchuck was working fine.Woke up this morning and started getting DSI exception errors when I use my nunchuck. Checked and reinstalled IOS's and home brew and everything.Everything works fine when I use just wii mote.Tried buying a offbrand 3rd party nunchuck (no real decent game store near by so options were slim for <$20) and using that, the home brew freezes and becomes unresponsive (Waste of $10)

I've spent 7+ hours trying at various stages both modmii and letterbomb to get it gong.syscheck brought no problems since ios etc would be updated with modmii.

Tried syncing remote and wii again to no prevail. I have 4.3u and everything works peachy with just wiimote. So don't think that's it?

Any ideas? It was working fine last night and I did nothing. SD card has been formated like it's going out of style so shouldn't be any problems there either.Think even though it works fine by itself I need new wiimote instead of nunchuck?

have no clue if it is system related at all here is syscheck to hopefully speed things up.no problems until today and nothing changed to create the problem.

Wrong version of HBC --- V1.1.2 is for vWii only. Our guides have you install V1.1.0 for this reason. Also, while technically your cIOS are correct --- your IOS reflect the fact you didn't follow the "Softmod ANY Wii" guide as well. Perhaps you should and see if the results differ?

    i used modwii

Followed "softmod any wii guide" and now i get Exception DSI/Stack Dump/Code Dump just by loading homebrew browser with no nunchuck

Syscheck report after following "Softmod any wii" instructions. Don't know if this is what is even causing the dsi exceptions. As now I am getting the exception error without nunchuck in places i wasn't before.

Hmmm. Maybe you should quadruple post, that might help your situation. Me me me me

Whoops, after 12+ hours intfront of WII thought i had pressed edit post instead of post quick reply. Not really noticing a difference at first glance at the ios.Nor do I even know if going this route will fix the actual problem. My thinking was since wiimote by itself works fine by itself and neither nunchuck was working it had to be a conflict in the wii somewhere.Could be way off though.

For the sake of narrowing it down still get the problem without usb stick plugged in.Found other cases of DSI errorrs but none related to the usage of the nunchuck. In those atleast the few that had resolution it was usually usb/sd card related. With some having buggered hacks.

Everything works until a nunchuck is plugged in.Though the 2nd nunchuck causes new/different problems with freezing etc. There a chance it's my wiimote or no since it works fine with nothing plugged into it? Don't have a 2nd one to try unfortunately. Or is syscheck still not clean enough to rule it out?

[EXTERNAL LINK REMOVED] is the only other nunchuck related dsi exception error i can find. Not a perfect solution for me as it looked to be 3rd party nunchuck (mine happens with original) and/or a need to remod/use a different loader.

WiiFlow works fine without nunchuck but when i put it in it starts scrolling auotmatically and i can't control anything with the nunchuck.

USB Loader GX takes me to ISI exception error.after nunchuck plugged in and nunchuck makes the wiimote act funny.

Both work fine sans nunchuck as well.

At this point do I buy another wiimote? Another nunchuck(no store around here has anything but 3rd party stuff right now)? or could it still be system related?

Since your IOSs were off before you used our guide, when you did use our guide, did you install the IOS Update pack in chapter 2 to fix the IOSs? Or did you skip that step and your IOSs are still messed up?

Followed guide again this time with a different SD card.Still getting DSI exception.Someone told me on another board that DSI error has nothing to do with IOS, especially since it only happens with nunchuck.

Replace nunchuck = still get dsi error
replace sd card = still get dsi error
remod system = still get dsi error
remove usb stick = still get dsi error

All that is left is wiimote and the hd itself.
