    Wii hack issue

Hi all, a few months back, I hacked my wii using the letter bomb method shown on this site. I am using a pal machine, I modded it because I now live in the states, I want to run my pal games in ntsc, and also play local ntsc games. I am experiencing one problem however, whenever I use neogamma to run a title, the controllers un-sync with the console, and don't work. What do I need to do to rectify this problem? I may have forgotten a procedure from the hack process. It has been a while since i did it, and because life got in the way, I have completely forgotten what I may have left out. I was lucky enough to score a mint NTSC Guitar hero world tour full set at a flea market for 35 bucks, I'm itching to play it!!

Thanks all. I really appreciate any advice or help.

PS, Is there any way to boot my Virtual console games eg metroid or SMW in NTSC rather than PAL?? Thanks again all.

Moved your post (it was inappropriate for the thread you posted it in). So does this mean you used the "Softmod ANY Wii" guide, or what?

Are you playing via optical only (DVD disc) or USB HD? You can post a SysCheck so we can evaluate your softmod status --- look here for directions. Post the resulting output in a reply to this thread, please...

Do your WiiMotes happen to be the ones with motion plus built in?

No, all of my wii motes are vanilla. I do have one Wii motion plus adapter for one of them, that is typically used the most often.

OK. Try to resync the remotes at the health and warning screen.

Well then, I booted up an ntsc copy of paper Mario, and it worked flawlessly. a big problem is with a PAL copy of Mario all stars anniversary edition, it wont't boot at all with neogamma. I have tried to run it in ntsc. the controller un scync's and after a green screen for a second, the screen goes blank, and the wii crashes. any ideas?

You have to force the loader to the region. You should also try different loaders, NeoGamma is kind of... almost archaic. Not sure which loader may have optical support though... that's largely gone the way of the dinosaur as well.
