Yeah good thing because thats what kept my wii from bricking. My wii works now. I did not do step 3 of the guide though because I will not use any of those.

Define "step 3," or what "any of those" are.

You need to do the full guide, don't skip steps (or in this case, that's a CHAPTER --- not "step 3," lol). How else would you load backups? You don't use the disc channel for that.

I will put this quite simple: do you plan or ever plan on loading a disc backup of a game? If the answer is "yes," you better do it!

It isn't a slyly worded question. Example: I have three kids. One's 10 going on 11, one's 9 going on 10, and a 2 going on 3. While I don't know your situation, there are those people out there who don't want to get their discs destroyed, scratched, lost, and the like. NOW are you getting me? If you ever intend on playing a backup of something you own (perfectly legal), you need to do ALL of the guide --- including Chapter 3.

I do have a couple minor questions that may provide (me) some light on the subject (you). How old are you? Is English your native tongue? Yeah, I could cheat and look you up via Mod options --- but it's easier simply to ask. The reason I'm asking is you're seeming to have issues grasping something that should be relatively plain (the concept in general)...
