    help? No thread title comes to mind

    hey guys after a bit of help here would a wii serial number LEH500520596 have a correct system where it was able to play backup discs from the drive?

    Not really the correct place to post but this will be short

    Your drive most likely has the following chipset:
    There is a 50% chance the chipset is GC2-D3-2 (v2) with no drive chip.
    And there is also a 50% chance the chipset is Combined GC2-D3 with no drive chip.
    So that would be a no

    And to be fair, why bother? USB loading is by far superior and cheaper

    all harddrives i have came across that are compatible and of a decent value have all been online orders.. i do not do any online buying so it would mean trial and error with high street shops which would not work out cheap at all lol.

    If any1 can shed light on an easily available HD from the likes of currys/pc world/argos etc any shop thats quite easily accessable much appreciation.

    & sorry for dropping the thread under this topic but couldnt find a suitable one and this was closest to my knowledge.
