Re-asking for clarification: do you have a bonafide USB hard drive attached to this Wii? How did you delete the loader (was it a forwarder/pseudo channel and if so, then wad manager or similar should've been utilized to remove it provided you still had the wad file installed). If it was strictly HBC launched (and not on a channel screen), you simply deleted the folder - right? Define crash --- ie reboot/return to Wii menu or DSI error?

i have a USB stick (16gb) attached into the back of the wii. Fat32 formatted. 9 wsfb games on it.
the loader. Had its own channel and i deleted the channel, the official way by Nintendo. It was a forwarder channel.....
i did not delete anything from my SD card, i can still start the loader through the HBC on my wii.
what happend now if i start CFG loader is that i get the menu, i see 9 games. I click on super mario. I can select to launch the game and then when i select the game the wii wants to load the game but it doesnt start up. The wiimote goes off after 3 seconds and the wii stays on with a black screen. I have to push the power button for 6 seconds to turn the wii off.

Ah, we love (sarcasm heavy) users who feel compelled to have multiple threads about the same thing. I do believe I'll be doing some moving shortly

Excuse me for doing this. After my reinstall i posted the system csv file in the thread that says I have to post it there.
    won't happen again.

Any idea what could be wrong with my Wii?

Being you have greater issue than simple back-checking your SysCheck, a single thread rather than all over the map is warranted. Did you try a different loader than what's been mentioned? A different game? And I can only conclude by your reply reply the answer "no," to the asked question if you had a bonafide USB hard drive (not flash drive, not SD card).

I havent tried any other loader. And i did not use a regular usb hd, but a usb stick. Problem is that everything worked, so I assume the usb stick can't be the cause, can it?
i did try 4 games, all of them crash.

I would like to reinstall everything from the start. I already did reinstall "step 2" from the guide, but should I do everything again including the bombletter? Or is that of no use?

p.s. I did post a NEW sysfile, after reinstalling "step 2, the 30 wabs".

Only thing I can think is that it is a cIOS compatibility issue with your drive. Go to the settings in GX and set the load IOS to 222. Then launch a game and see what happens.

(This still wouldnt explain why it worked before but not now...honestly there is no rational explanation unless we arent getting the full story)

EDIT: If that doesnt work, change it back to 249 and save then exit GX. Follow the d2x Installation guide (below in my sig) to install v9b49 base 56 into slot 249. Then try loading again.

Ok, so I put in another USB stick with the games on it and then it worked :-). So something probably was wrong with theother Usb-stick (actually sdcard in usb adapter). Thanks for your time and patience!
