Drive blue light always on... Is this a bad idea?

Couple of years ago, I found something to get the drive blue light always on. I can't find it anymore and was wondering if it could burn the drive light? Thanks!

It's an LED. It would take a while but it's theoretically possible. I can't really remember the last time I've burnt out an LED on any electronics.

No idea if this will work or not but here you go:

The only downside of this process is that the blue light will stay constantly lit even if the Wii is turned off. I would imagine, however, that you won’t have to worry about the LED burning out anytime soon.
