Question Error #001 unauthorized device detected?

    Hi there,

I am completely lost... I bought an used Wii console (firmware 4.3E istalled), followed this guide to softmodd it: External Link Removed (my bad I later noticed). I also installed Darkcorp 1.1.

Now only older backup-copied games (DVD - I don't have a HDD) work e.g. Mario Kart and for ALL newer games I get "Error #001 unauthorized device detected" (regardless if I use the disc channel, Neogamma, USB Loader GX).

Can anyone please help me with this? I cannot figure out what the problem is.

    Here is my Syscheck report:

    Thanks!

Whatever guide you followed is junk.

I would suggest remodding it using our guide : Softmod Any Wii (link in signature) and be sure to install the "IOS Update" pack. Yes, I know it says it's not required if you have a 4.3 system, but your IOS files are messed up and this should repair it.

Be sure to install the Mod Pack as well, since IOS Update assumes that you've also unzipped and installed Mod Pack before IOS Update.

You do have priiloader installed, which we like to see. If you choose to downgrade your menu to 4.1, be sure to reinstall priiloader (it's all in the guide).
