LOL, yeah that's the bottom line (and then submit yea or nay with the details). If you're on the fence for this particular product, check the vendor's return policies prior to ordering (so as to not lose your shirt).

If all you are going to use it for is Wii games, then either format is fine. We have guides (links to both are in my signature) to show you how we recommend that you set things up.

If you want to load HBC apps from USB instead of from SD, then it has to be FAT32.

If you want to load GameCube games either from Devolution or Dios Mios, then it has to be FAT32 with 32k clusters.

Hi, many thanks for your reply.
the wd hard drive is ntfs so I do not need to format?
I have opened new unused hard drive in ntfs and made active in pc disk management. I have downloaded wii backup manager and put a game on transfered to wbfs .
plugged in wii USB port and opened cfloader but hard drive not showing any game and I think I have gone wrong somewhere or not done something i should......

    help please
    thankyou

Did you even read the guides in llaffer's signature? Your post says "no" to me...

cfloader? Is that another old dusty loader that hasn't been updated in years and should die in a fire?

Have you tried a more current USB loader? I have three in my signature, in addition to the NTFS guide that you didn't read.
