4.3 Red wii w/ HBC issues

Ive tried searching and am very confused with the search results on what I should do to fix this issue. In my HBC, some of my applications no longer work, some crash my Wii.... Im sorry if this is a repost.

Im trying to figure out if I need to re-install HBC, if it will dump all my save data on games within HBC? All I can use is WiiMC and my NES and SNES emulators without issue.

Again... apologize for this repost. Im just having a hard time navigating the various search results for a clear answer. Ill go away now. Thanks.

Start by posting a system check so we can see what's going on! Follow this guide on how to post a system check. http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...tem-check.html

What applications are crashing? When are they crashing? Do they restart back into HBC after? Did they run before? If it's been awhile since you softmodded, the first thing anyone will have you do is freshen it up. Check the softmod any wii guide in my signature.

Its been almost 2 years since I softmodded Using that exact guide.

Should I follow it again from the beginning? Will it delete my data?

Yeah, two years is a long time... you should freshen it up. You can use the HBC Already Installed method in the mod anywii guide. No matter what the situation, this is our preferred baseline for starting from.

What data are you concerned about?

Most likley, the answer will be no, it will be fine. I just want to make sure that we're on the same track.
