What are good batteries for Wii remotes?

    My story
For three or more years now, I've been using the Nyko charger base + rechargeable batteries. I started to notice that it wasn't fully charging my remotes like it used to. So I bought new Nyko batteries. I taped a piece of paper on the gold connector parts of the battery this time to protect it from human fingers. The same problem occured with these new batteries (except one). I think it must be the charge base, it must be getting old now, an the gold connectors are dusty from being on the floor for so many years.

    My question
Are there any good solutions for having rechargeable batteries for the Wii remotes? Any good brand, or types of batteries that work best for wii controllers?
I need a cheap affordable way to have batteries for my three remotes. I find that even regular batteries drain, when not in use.

I use energizer rechargeable Nickel meddle hydride. Have had no issues, just stay away from the rechargeable battery packs cause they are no good.

Ahh thanks SNES_Master. I knew there had to be a better alternative.
I searched Amazon, I found a 4 pack for $9.23 . Says that it can be charged up to 250 times.
But one thing about these battieres. How exactly do you charge them?

For me I bought a 15min quick charger at a grocery store. Just look up "energizer battery charger" and you should find one.

Awesome, I found that charger here: Amazon.com: Energizer 15-Minute Battery Charger Kit With Car Adapter: Electronics
Comes with 4 AA batteries. I'm gonna recommend these batteries to my family, they got a wireless mouse that needs this solution.
