    Dios Mios question

    MY STORY
I have somewhat of an understanding on how DML works. But not entirely. I first installed Dios Mios v2.8, and tried loading a game from my USB, but it just asks to send the game to the SD card.
So I installed Dios Mios Lite v2.8, an loaded the game onto my SD card, the game boots fine now. It boots fine even when using the Dios mios booter.

I read somewhere that DML supports USB loading, so I tried it. No luck, I just get a fatal error app size is zero on the DM booter. and it asks to copy the game to SD in USB loader GX.

    MY QUESTION
Is there any good loader, version of DM, or methods of skipping disc check for USB loading?

DML loads only from SD. To USB Load download Dios Mios 2.8 and install it using IOS-236. Then download USB Loader GX r1209 and you will not be asked to copy to SD.

For full details on this look at the Dios Mios guide in the guides section. You can also optionally check out Devolution (the other way to load GC ISOs from USB), link for the Devolution Guide is in my signature.

Thanks a lot, I appreciate the kind support.
I'll take a look at your guide

Edit: I have a question: Why is it that DML would skip the disc verification, but DM requires it?
Why would the developer make a non disc check version of DM?

Is v2.8 the best version to use?

I don't think that DM requires a disk in the drive anymore like it used to when it was newer. I've been able to play GC games from USB without a disk in the system for some time now (since 2.2, I think. When was that? Summer '12?)

Just what I needed to know, thanks llaffer!
According to Snes_Master's guide, the disc verification can't be avoided, it's part of the process for usb loading GC games. Do you have a different way of loading your games?

(Glad to be the one to give you your 200th thank xD )

Disc verification only applies to Devolution, if your disc drive is dead or your discs are too damaged to read you'll have to either get the them fixed or use Dios Mios.
