Disaster recovery ~ a hypothetical scenario

A problem presented itself such that I nearly cleared all bluetooth peripheral pairings; by holding the wii sync button for 15 seconds. Then the thought occurred to me... how would one recover from that situation when priiloader is configured to bypass the 'A' button press on the health and safety screen and boot straight into a USB loader that doesn't support wii remote syncing?

Anyone have a solution for this thought experiment? I'm stumped...

If that usb loader supports gamecube remotes, you can use that to access the homebrew channel.
I'm not too sure how priiloader works, I use bootmii myself. But if I didn't want bootmii auto starting when the wii does, I'd just rename the bootmii folder to bootmii-. If Priiloader has a folder on the SD card like that, then maybe you can do the same.
Or just take the SD card out of the wii

Ok, I feel stupid. Thanks, Matt. Sometimes it just takes a little input to make the light bulb turn on. Priiloader is always available via the reset button. Bring it up and turn off the 'A' button override and viola! Sync the remote from the H&S screen.

Glad you got the problem solved! I was just looking through some threads in the help section to see if I can possibly help anyone. I just listed some ideas that came to mind without a real solution. Glad I had a chance to help

Hold reset to load priiloader. Once priiloader loads, hold reset again, the system menu will load. Sync the wiimotes.
