Ca Skylander Giants: Boots up, but then wii restarts...

    Hi,

1st, i want to say that i did a lot of research over here before posting... i have been working for 2 days to get this to work...

I have my HDD plugged in USB1 and Skylander portal in USB2.

I am using USB Loader GX (latest version).

I am softmodded, and i have to say that i re-did my softmod, along with reinstalling all cIOS in the softmod anywii guide. (succesfully).

I play all my other games on my HDD, including Super Mario Wii... and Skylanders Spyro...

Now, my Skylander Spyro, i am using cIOS 247 to make it work... and it does work....(Don't direct me to the Spyro's guide, i already did this to make my Giants working, but it doesn't work)

But for my Skylander Giants, i tried using all tricks around here... even updated dx2 v8 and still have same problem. I am unable to start the game from USB Loader GX. I am trying with cIOS 247, 223, 250 (as i read all around... )

When i start it, turns to a black screen, portal lights up, then lights off and in less than 5 seconds, it makes the wii restart and return to system menu. I am using System Menu 4.1U

    What could be wrong?

bad rip? Have you tried re-ripping your disk using GX to install to the hard drive?

Can you post a syscheck, just in case there is something else in there that jumps out at us? (directions on how to do that are in my signature).

    Your system check is fine.

Yeah. posting your syscheck here is fine. We just don't want them posted in the forum that tells you how to make syschecks (there is a separate thread for that purpose for those that didn't already start their own threads, like you did).

But as Jax said, your syscheck looks good. So I think that narrows things down to a possible bad dump. Try reripping the disk using the USB Loader install function, than point cIOS 247 at it (the same way that the original Skylanders needed to be set up), and see if that helps.
