advice on wii that has been previously modded???

ill try to make this as simple as possible, bear with me..

Im thinking about buying this wii, it was softmodded on 4.1 (no idea which method?) than accenently updated to 4.3, everything got wiped I guess, then it was re softmodded (again not sure which method was used...nor does he, although he did it, he said he used a little from every guide...lol)
he says everything is working but idk.. he doesnt know if preloader was installed, or a nand backup... usualy I remember if I did those steps so makes me think he does not know what hes doing.:007:

My question is:
1- i want to redo the softmod can I just start from scratch or will I run into problems,:confused:
2- can I still make a nand back up by just putting bootmii back on the sd card?
3- should I just not buy the fucking thing...lol:p

If you do buy it and you want to know if the system is current, you can post a syscheck for one of us to look at (directions on how to do so is in my sig). It will tell us if the cIOS's are updated or not and if priiloader is installed (though, it won't tell us if it's properly configured, you'll have to check that yourself).

Or, you can just follow the Softmod Any Wii guide (also in my sig) to mod it using our method on top of whatever state the Wii is currently in.

You can always make your own NAND backup (and recommended to do so as a step in the guide mentioned above).

so basicly I can just redo the softmod( i ALWAYS use the guide from here..lol) and all will be fine?, ill post the syscheck when I get it cheers!
