Inside you'll see "boot.elf" and "boot.dol". You can ignore the .elf file. As for the .dol file, you should see a "boot.dol" file in your sd:/apps/usbloader_gx directory from what you got in the App Pack. Just replace the boot.dol with this new one, and launch it from HBC. Then you'll be running the latest version.
Okay new error after I loaded the 249. I am going to try the others but this is the error I got with 249.
Fatal error entrypoint is not within Mem1!

Update* I played with it some more and I got it to work on another game. Maybe the game I had was corrupt or something cause another game I have worked.

Another question can I use a SDHC with the wii no problem? Cause I have a regular sd card in there and anytime I try to play a GC game it wants to store it on the SD card to play it wont let me play from the external HD i have.

It means you either have DML installed instead of DM, or you're using an old version of the loader that doesn't know the difference between DM and DML and presuming you have DML.

Make sure you have DM installed and update your loader to the latest revision (links to three loaders are in my sig).

If you want to play from the hard drive, install Dios Mios (not lite).

But to answer your question, yes. SDHC works just fine as long as it's FAT32. When DML was new, I picked up a 32gig class 10 card formatted as FAT32 with 64k clusters and it worked well (once compatibility started ramping up).

For DM, the hard drive must be FAT32 formatted using 32k clusters. The files install in the same place on the hard drive as they would on the SD card.

Yea I have Dios Mios regular. not lite installed. but when I use the usbloaderGX program it says this game needs to be installed on your sd card to play. even though its pulling from my external. I would rather pull from the external hard drive and save to external hard drive. Dont know why it must put the game on my sd card to play. Cause now from that one game my sd card is maxed out.

Did you check that you have the latest version of the USB Loader? If you're using the version from AppPack, it's not the most recent. Check my signature for links for the updated files.

Yea I do have the latest USB loader that you supplied me with. The 249 boot.dol file. So if I have the latest version of USB Loader it will pull from and save to my external HDD? Cause right now it wont let me play the game unless I load it too my sd card. When I pull from the external HDD it says this game must be installed on your SD card. luckily I had just enought room for one game and got that to work.

Also whats up with the thread title changing? to Jerry Seinfield?

Can you post a syscheck to this thread? Directions on how to do so are in my signature. (use b19, not b17 that states is recommended).

And as for the title change, I have no idea.

Are you launching GX from a channel or from HBC? Sometimes the channel you installed isn't a forwarders to the app stored on the SD card, but the fully contained homebrew in a channel, so you'd still be running an old version.

To find out exactly what version of GX you're running, launch it, go to settings (icon in the lower-left corner), then go to the last page of options and choose Credits.

Give me the "rev" number shown in the upper-right.

Usb Loader GX only shows Wii games by default, I think. And there's a button in the upper toolbar to enable them.

    Just saying. x)
