Tapatalk via mobile, it's always connected but I work a lot and have a family so I can't always check in. It is very new, bought it a week before Christmas as a present for my girlfriend. I am currently working so I will get back to you on the SN which Btw the SN DOES NOT show up any info for my console. I KNOW even more fishy right? lol I am not making this stuff up, I have no reason to. I can take picture and post them if you'd like so you can see for yourself everything I am saying is legit

Bought the Wii at a Target store here in the states, it's a black Wii that came bundled with Wii sports and sports resorts and a Wiimote with Wii motion plus inside

I will also be running another syscheck. I did mod a coworkers Wii but did not run a syscheck that I can remember so there is no way I posted his instead of mine, and also his is an older model white Wii with GC controller and memory card slot inputs.

According to amazon, they started selling that model of system in October 2012. (I was just making sure it wasn't one of the 2010 bundles that's been sitting in a warehouse for a while.)

Well, it's certainly not a WiiU (look at the copyright date), but that serial number is nowhere to be found that I can see (Wii Drive DB, Google, the forums here). So I'm guessing this might be some new hardware revision?

That was my initial assessment as well. OPs issue probably has something to do with the system menu ios. I wish we had a syscheck from prior to doing the mod...

Zombie, I will continue to look into this issue. Sorry I dont have any quick answer for you

Yup I know my console is all kinds of screwy. First hackmii would not work with my MAC address and then I couldn't find anything for my SN, as if it's not even valid. I'm just glad the hack didn't brick my Wii. Like I said it's just a mild inconvenience that I have to press the power button twice on the console it self or the wiimotes in order for it to power all the way up to the SM, and then I have to walk over to the console and press the power button for about 3 seconds in order for it to shut down completely. Because if I don't my HDD will keep running right? Because the light on my HDD stays on if the console is on. And if that's the case I don't want to wear it out prematurely. Everything else seems to Running fine besides that. Although every time I run a syscheck at the end it freezes the Wii and I have to press the power button until it shuts down.

Update: Don't mean to bump but I decided to share because I found a solution to one of my issues and maybe it will help someone else that comes across the same issue...I disabled the health screen in priiloader on my Wii so now when I power it on with the wiimotes or on the console it self it does not go to stanby,it goes directly to the main menu. Hope this helps thanks!
