GX search feature - I dont use it so no idea. I just scroll thru the list. The right and left directional buttons move the list by a full page if u have a lot of games.
Neogammma - its primarily used for disc loading, but since you have a newer Wii that isnt possible, so may as well delete it. AFAIK no version has been recompiled for use with the TR remotes.
Yes, to turn off the console one has to hold down the power button on the console for 10 seconds, it's just annoying not being able to switch off from the remote. Should I make a new thread just about the power problem so that more people that have experience with the problem can help ?

As for the search feature, please let me know if you find anything else out about it, just helps if you have a large games collection.

For Neogammer, I thought it allows you to play backed up games on newer consoles ? I thought that was the whole point of it as consoles before 2010 could play them without any mod ? But if it really doesn't work with backup discs then I might as well uninstall it, otherwise I'll keep it in case I get a normal wii remote....

Oh, and I am trying to download the Nintendo channel but I just keep getting an error ?

    Thanks

Its the newer drives that will not play the backups, it has nothing to do with the software. So yes, you might as well delete it. You misunderstood that part, consoles made before 2010 can play games from backup disc using neogamma, and the mod is still needed.

The problem with creating new threads is that when someone posts solutions or troubleshooting steps in one thread, they aren't shown in the other thread, which leaves open ended threads and is confusing for both the OP, the people trying to help, and the people looking for a solution in the future. We don't like that, so best to stick to one thread. If you wish, and all your questions have been answered about the original topic, I will close this thread and leave a link to your new thread for the power problem once it is created.

Ok well I think can we for now leave this thread open in case anyone has any info how the Nintendo channel not downloading and the USB Loader GX & in the mean time I will create a new thread on the power problem & we can link it here...

UPDATE : Search is now working (needed more than 1 game in the library to become active).

Nintendo Channel still will NOT download (gives error).

Cursor appeared erratic once again in usb loader GX, possibly due to motion+ as on-screen hand tilts from left to right erratically.

    Power problem still exists.

Please refrain from "double posting" per site rules. We generally ask users to use the "EDIT" button if 24 hours hasn't passed. Not exactly sure why you're posting issues in two different threads?

The sparatic controller thing happens to me too. In my case turning the sensitivity up and sitting further back from the TV and not at an angle (ie face directly at the TV) seems to help ease that. It may also help to change the sensor bars orientation, for me below the TV seems to be the best place.

Thanks for the tips, I also enabled the 'update message board' in settings but my 'today' message does not get updated with the games I play from USB Loader GX....

It will only update for Wii games (not sure if that includes WiiWare and VC games), just an FYI in case your wanting GC games to display too, and it will take a few minutes before the message appears.

Same version that's posted in the 'soft-mod guide' (pretty sure it's the latest). I too will check tomorrow to see if it updates with the game and time played....
